Memorial mode

When they're gone, the app goes quiet.

The worst thing an app can do the week after you lose a pet is remind you their worming tablet is due. CorePaw stops all of it the moment you tell it — and keeps everything you'd want to look back on.

  • Every reminder and medication for that pet stops at once
  • Nothing is ever deleted
  • Their profile becomes a keepsake, not a gap
  • A quiet "Restore profile" if it was set by mistake

The keepsake

Everything you logged becomes something to keep.

All those quick taps — the walks, the photos, the years — add up to a record of a life you shared.

A timeline of photos

Their gallery, in order, from first to last.

📕

A memory book

One tap exports a soft, printable PDF of the photos and your time together.

Our promise

Never behind a paywall.

Grief is not an upsell. Memorial mode and the memory book are free for everyone, for good — even if a paid plan lapses. A memorial pet never counts toward the free one-pet limit, so remembering one pet never stops you caring for another.

On the home screen they show softly as “🕊 In loving memory”. Nothing else changes for anyone else in the household.

FAQ

Memorial mode FAQ

What happens when I mark a pet as passed away?

Every reminder, medication and nudge for that pet is silenced immediately — nothing else in the household is touched — and their profile becomes a memorial. Nothing is deleted.

Where do I find it?

Quietly, on the pet's Edit screen. CorePaw never suggests it, never prompts you toward it, and never asks about it.

What is in the memorial?

The years you shared, the distance you walked together, the walks you shared, and a timeline of their photos. A one-tap memory book exports a soft, printable PDF of the photos and your time together.

Does it cost anything?

No. Memorial mode and the memory book are always free — even if a paid plan lapses — and a memorial pet never counts toward the free one-pet limit.

What if I set it by mistake?

A quiet "Restore profile" puts everything back.

Will other people in the household be told?

The pet shows softly on the home screen as "In loving memory" for everyone in the household. There is no announcement and no notification.
